The metaverse is coming to take your job. If you are not a top performer at your job and consistently producing new ideas and concepts, be ready for a change in employment over the next 15-20 years.
This may sound harsh, but the reality is your company probably doesn’t need you already. The goal of a company is to not only stay profitable but also to increase profitability.
Recently, an Amazon warehouse in New York fought to unionize—this is a huge deal. Do you think unions make a company more or less profitable?

The metaverse will be a game-changer with automation, artificial intelligence, and machine learning. Yes, it will start with human users populating the workforce; that is just the start.
Why Real Estate is the I.D.E.A.L. Investment
Eventually, companies will start to replace entry-level human employees with A.I. robots that are so good that we (humans) will not be able to discern the difference.
It’s already happening under our noses. When you call customer service at a company, do you expect to get a human or robot?
If you call a brokerage where you invest a good amount of money, you will get a human. If you call to return a $20 coffee maker, you’ll probably get a robot.
Each time you hear a robot talking, remember that 20 years ago, that was a human. Businesses have replaced tons of customer service jobs with robots and outsourcing. The book “The 4-Hour Work Week” talks about the benefits of out-sourcing.

Why do companies want to replace you? The chances are that you are not a good employee. I have been in the military for 23 years. When I joined in 1999, I would say the ratio of great/good/average/bad workers was 10/25/45/20. That implies about 80% of workers are average or better and can get at least something accomplished when tasked.
Today, I would say that the ratio is 5/10/20/65. That implies that 35% of workers are average or better and get at least something accomplished when tasked.
If you believe these new numbers to be false, you probably are not in the top 35% of workers. If you are in the top 5% of workers, you can see these numbers clearly.
Workers today hide behind the words “I am too busy” or “my plate is full.” But, what are you actually doing? Most people have no organization, self-motivation, or method to prioritize tasks.
Why the Bank Wants Your Money
Thus, when they have a few minutes between menial tasks, they are not working towards another priority or a personal agenda. They usually just play on their phones.
Why do companies need to hire entitled workers who think the companies owe them a job? If you are a top performer, you see that the writing is on the wall. It’s over for the average worker with no ambition.
How will the metaverse take over? We have already begun the transfer to remote work. That means that companies already view us as robots with human brains.
Many companies are trying to bring workers back from remote work, citing improved creativity and teamwork. This is an excuse for “people need leadership” to get things done.
Just because you are busy doesn’t mean that you are moving the company’s agenda forward. The top 5% of workers know how to move the needle forward, and their work creates a halo effect around surrounding worker bees.
How the Rich Buy Their Bling
However, companies are tired of pandering to the lowest 65% of workers who want high pay, great hours, a personal mission set, and constant rewards and motivation. If you are so motivated, you will be an entrepreneur.
The entrepreneurial mindset. The top 5% of workers possess the mindset of an entrepreneur. They can envision the mission of the founding fathers of the company and weaponize that “intent” to get things done.
The top workers can easily build a great business on their own, but they decide to work for a company for various reasons. They have the drive, work ethic, people skills, and leadership ability to strike out independently.
These workers will always have a job and be highly sought after by various communities. They never worry about losing a job or status—they are builders.
Living on Auto-Pilot or Driving Towards Abundance?
Become a builder. If you want to secure a job and lifestyle moving into the future of the metaverse, you have to become a builder.
You not only have to accomplish tasks, but you also need to create tasks. More importantly, you need to pass these new tasks to others and ensure they complete them. That’s true leadership, and it’s what’s lacking across the board.
The book “From Paycheck to Purpose” does a fantastic job of helping you make yourself indispensable at your job. Once you read this book, you’ll understand how underwhelming your job performance was until this point.
Our Kids Need Financial Education and Assets
Become a content creator. If you want to see how you are at your job, become a content creator. As a content creator, you are doing 20+ jobs every day.
You are a jack of all trades and will need to master most of them. You have to manage your own schedule and ensure all your taskers push the needle forward.
As a writer, I can wake up and check emails all day, but I get paid when I release books. My mission is to consume content, produce content, and run the administration of a book business.
The skills I have learned (writing, editing, creating book covers, advertising, running a blog, sales) will be invaluable in the Metaverse and real-life workforce.
Real Men Understand Finances
Conclusion. Will your job survive going into the metaverse? Probably not. But if you can’t read between the lines, your job isn’t the problem—it’s you.
Your job was never meant to save you from your fate. A job is just a part of the equation of your life, relationships, and finances. We are supposed to have an entrepreneurial/creative mindset.
The more school we attend, the less creative we become. We are waiting for someone to give us the answer or tell us when we are correct. Until you can wake up and write your manuscript of life, you are disposable to your company.
Will You Make a Good Landlord?
If you are waiting for tasking, prepare for the robots to overtake your job. If you don’t want to deal with people, organize thoughts and opinions, and present your ideas to management in a coherent and actionable manner, prepare to work for a robot.
Ask yourself what separates us from the robots? How can I apply that “human-ness” to my job? What can I do that a robot cannot?
Strive to be in the top 5% of workers, and this article will make complete sense. Start a business or create content to build the mindset of an entrepreneur.
Even in the military, having this mindset leads to gains and synergies that companies craze. Become your own boss, even at your job. It’s not your job; it’s your mindset.
