The ReBirth of the Renaissance Person

There has never been a better time to become rich. The barriers to entry in sectors like real estate, business, and investing are open to all that apply.

However, you can’t become wealthy as a one-dimensional, closed-minded, unfit, uneducated person. You’ll need to step out of your comfort zone and become a Renaissance Person to increase your wealth and happiness.

What is a Renaissance Person? A renaissance person is a well-rounded, fit, serious human who invests time in learning multiple talents, skill sets, and crafts.

What Limiting Beliefs Do You Have About Money?

The book “Early Retirement Extreme” has a great definition and explanation of the new-age renaissance person. My description will be much easier to explain and achieve for the average person

I divide my renaissance person education into three categories: health, finances, and relationships. These are the exact same categories I wrote about in “Pick Your Content Niche” almost two years ago.

A renaissance person must take all three of these categories seriously and continue to improve themselves as time passes. Let’s explore each of these subjects more in-depth.

The importance of Health. A renaissance person values their personal health above all. We can divide health into daily habits, fitness, and diet.

Real Estate is a Mindset (Intermediate)

Daily habits include waking up early, making bed, reading, and writing. The early bird gets the worm, and you’ll need to be up before everyone to become wealthy.

Fitness is vital to the renaissance person (RP). You should strive to do some type of exercise every day of the week. Exercising doesn’t have to be overly intense, but you’ll need to sweat a little.

Yes, you’ll have to watch what you eat as an RP. Diet is essential to maintaining your weight inside the body mass index (BMI) parameters. I have weighed roughly 150 lbs for over 12 years because of exercise and diet.

The importance of Finances. You can’t get rich if you don’t understand finances. However, trying to make money will fail in most cases. You’ll need to know how to add value because that is how you create true wealth.

Some categories to study as an RP are stocks, bonds, real estate, royalties, and business. You don’t need to be the subject matter expert in all these, but reading a finance book every month will give you a broad understanding of these markets.

  1. Stocks. You’ll have to understand various stocks, businesses, and indexes to follow. Also, why markets react to world news, recessions, market reports, and interest rates.
  2. Bonds. You’ll need to study why interest rates are essential to bond markets and how risk plays a part in a bond’s value.
  3. Real Estate. Where do mortgage rates originate? Who controls real estate in your local market? How much are homes and rents in your neighborhood, and why?
  4. Royalties. How do you create money from thin air using your mind? What is creativity, and how can you add value to others? Why is it important to diversify into content creation?
  5. Business. Why is being an insider vital to financial freedom? How can a business multiply the speed at which you build wealth?

Don’t expect to learn all of these topics in a year or two. However, once you get the overall picture, you will see how these wealth generators move together.

The importance of Relationships. The most challenging part of life is building relationships; the most rewarding part of life is building relationships.

There is no point in obtaining great wealth if you do not have any meaningful relationships. Humans are tribal creatures that crave companionship. Do not deny yourself the pleasure and joy of building long-term relationships because of words like “independence.

Books like “Find Your People” and “Smart Couple Finish Rich” will help you understand relationship and marriage finance.

The Pros and Cons of Dividends ETFs

A renaissance person’s interaction with others is truly the distinguishing factor versus the standard human. Most people have become angry and short with peers and strangers.

RPs use human capital and psychology to make others feel good, react smartly, and look forward to their following conversation. RPs show they care for others by listening and asking thoughtful, direct questions.

Should you become a Renaissance Person? Are you happy with your life in its current form? Do you wish you had more friends, money, success, or happiness? Do you want to be in better shape?

All of these things work together, but all require discipline to obtain. You can’t be overweight and think you will have everything in life.

The Magic of Cryptocurrencies

You can’t spend money on video games, restaurants, and chasing tails and believe you will become rich. You can’t treat people like crap and think the world will give you tons of money.

Money comes to those who value it; in fact, money is an exchange of value. Paper currency is just a belief system; you can swap money with gold, crypto, or top ramen, and it would work the same.

When you start adding value to the world by valuing yourself (health), you’ll see dramatic shifts in how people interact with you.

Once you value your money (finances), you will see drastic changes in your emergency fund, savings, and investment opportunities.

Once you value others (relationships), you see extraordinary changes in how people value your time and manage their energy around you.

Conclusion. Your parents and the education system probably told you that you need to find a high-paying job and a spouse with a high-paying job.

Once you have the money, everything will fall into place. Does that sound familiar? Unfortunately, that is not the case—the exact opposite, actually.

Once you value yourself (health), others (relationships), and your money (finances), you will have it all. You’ll have a person who will get on the same page as you.

They will also take care of their health, wealth, and finances. You two will create children who will also take care of these things.

A renaissance person can create a renaissance community around themselves. That’s the power of diversification. If you only focus on your job, car, and house, you will end up alone.

I work hard every day to become a renaissance person. You’ll never hold all the information in the world, but you can try. Good Luck!
