What is content marketing? Content marketing is making long-form (or short-form) content to convey a point or topic to an audience.
Everyone who creates content is a content marketer; however, they may not even know they are marketing to anyone.
The purpose of a business is to sell a product or service. To generate revenue, you must have an audience.
Two ways to sell to an audience. There are two ways to sell to an audience: build your own audience or pay to use someone else’s.

What about content platforms? Content platforms like YouTube, Medium, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Kindle, and Apple Podcasts have their own audience.

Your Superfans will follow you wherever you go, but they may only comprise one percent of your total active audience.
