Living on Almost Nothing

5 Takeaways from “Living on Almost Nothing”

Living on Almost Nothing” by Amber Storck is a book about living “beyond” what you would consider frugal. However, her advice is necessary in today’s economy and world climate.

The author starts by giving us her work history and how she bought a home in Arizona in cash.

Next, she details how she saves money on everything, including food, clothing, clothes, washing and drying, and electricity.

1) Amber gives us a great recipe for making iced coffee at home for super cheap. She says it is better than Starbucks, and I will try.

2) My wife will attempt to make Amber’s homemade laundry detergent. This recipe could save us lots of money over the years.

3) Take up fishing so you can save on meat costs. You will earn your money for the fishing license back quickly.

4) If you have a hot water heater, you can purchase a timer to keep costs down throughout the day.

5) Start your life by buying the smallest house you possibly can afford. This strategy will allow you to start building your real estate portfolio.

This book is a survivalist manual for the upcoming shift in America and elsewhere. As costs keep rising, only those that understand these cost-saving measures will survive.

If you can learn to barter and trade, as well as create your own detergent, cereal, and coffee, you can shield yourself from the pricing madness.

The new world order will take advantage of anyone who needs to purchase from big box stores and restaurants.

The future is the past, so learning to be creative and save money is the way to success. This guidebook will help get you going in the right mindset. Good Luck!
