The Perfect Life: RV Life & Royalties

What a fantastic time in which we live. Never has it been easier or more convenient to make money from anywhere in the world.

However, easier doesn’t mean less challenging. Living the laptop life comes with extreme discipline and consistency.

We can merge the ideas of freedom and remote work with RV life. This means you can travel the world as long as you have a mobile connection. Does living the RV life sound interesting to you?

Blue Yield: The Magic of High-Yield Blue-Chip Stocks

Let’s start with Royalties. The first step on our journey is creating royalties. There are many ways to earn these magical creative dividends.

Some ways to generate income are music, writing, podcasts, videos, photos, and art. But first, a word of caution; building royalties is challenging (to say the least).

I earned $550 in royalties my first year on Amazon Kindle. I am currently on track to earn $1,300 in my second year—a great sum of money.

You don’t start building royalties for the short term. It is something that you do throughout a lifetime.

Real Estate Investing in Your 50s

Think about artists like Michael Jackon, whose estate still earns millions in royalties. We want to think like this, but on a much smaller scale.

As you plan your escape to an RV, think about how much you want to earn in royalties. Honestly, I would plan to pay my bills with an income portfolio. Income investing will give you the best paycheck replacement.

The magic of RV Life. The excellent part of earning royalties is your ability to create new content from anywhere.

Retire Rich, Retire Comfortable with a Business 3

Traveling in an RV allows you to meet new people, create video blogs, write travel blog content, and take photos you can sell.

But how does RV life look and feel? I am not an RV person yet, but there are plenty of videos and blogs you can follow.

I have traveled for over 23 years in the Marine Corps. I have traveled enough for a lifetime. However, I wouldn’t mind the occasional “glamping” lifestyle.

The best royalties for RV life. You can go into RV life with any kind of royalties you like. You can write suspense novels while on the road.

You can release videos about your prior profession while traveling. For example, I can talk about my many years in the Marines as a source of royalties.

Inflation Ate My Paycheck 101

The sky’s the limit; however, creating content around RV life would also be ideal. People will find it interesting to see your words in action.

For example, I write about dividend investing and creating royalties. I started my blog before I released one book on Amazon.

During my first month on Amazon, I made $3. Now, I am on pace to make $200 this month. I earned $150 a month in dividends when I started my blog. I am on pace to earn $1,700 this month.

So adding an element of RV life, lessons you learn along the way, and your future plans will benefit your RV audience.

Become Insanely Productive During the Magic Hours 2

Building an audience. Royalties require an audience. Most of the people who buy from you will be from your audience.

Rarely do people rarely buy things from strangers. For example, you may listen to a recording artist for a year before you buy their album.

Knowing this, you will need to start building your audience now. Where will your audience gather? You can create a Facebook group, blog, message board, YouTube membership, or Discord community.

You can also start a Patreon page later in your journey. This way, your Superfans can contribute directly to your community.

The Ultimate Solo Writing Business

Adding value to the RV space. What can you add that is unique to the RV space? What makes your content different?

First, no one on Earth is the same as you. You have a unique story to present to the world. Next, how do you monetize your experiences, dreams, and talents?

The only way to find out what your audience will purchase is by doing the work. You just have to start writing, filming, taking pictures, or recording and keep doing it for years.

When I started writing books, I thought charging $3 for an ebook was too much. Now I am consistently selling $20 paperbacks.

House Rich, Cash Poor: Avoid the Housing Trap

You may love drinking coffee. You can talk about RV life in a daily VLOG while drinking different kinds of coffee.

You can leverage affiliate links to this coffee and sell branded coffee mugs on Redbubble. Eventually, you can white-label your own coffee products and make pure profits.

In this scenario, you would make money from YouTube views, blog posts (if you transcribe your words), affiliate income from other coffee products, commissions from selling mugs, and e*commerce income from selling your own white-labeled coffee products.

I cannot stress this enough: it takes a good amount of time before people will buy from your brand consistently. Creating royalties and associated income is more complex than just a quick-rich-quick scheme.

You must care about RV life, adding value to your audience, and ensuring you remain consistent through it all.

You also need to be honest with your audience. If things aren’t going so well, be honest about it. You may hate being on the road all the time. You may decide to live the RV life on a plot of land and turn it into a homestead.

Conclusion. Your audience will follow you on your journey if you let them. If you remain guarded, they will also protect their wallets.

Social media influencers now have as much clout as big corporations. If my favorite video game YouTubers say the new Pokemon games aren’t good, I will take that as gossip.

That is the power of having a platform. With great power comes great responsibility. I don’t throw around earning royalties “willy-nilly.”

Rich & Free: Build an Investment Portfolio in 8 Steps

Trust me; building an audience will push you to the extreme. It is not something you can do half-ass. It’s all or nothing; you must commit fully.

However, on the other end is living your dream life. You could be driving around the country, sharing your experiences, while earning money while you sleep.

If this sounds great, I recommend you read books like “You Are The Brand” and “Company of One.” You must build the mindset of an entrepreneur.

In the end, creating royalties is a life-changing endeavor. I love creating and having the flexibility to do it from anywhere. One day I will create royalties while in an RV. Good Luck!
