My name is Josh, and I have been in the Marine Corps for 22 years. I created Financial Independence Magazine so that everyone would have the opportunity to experience financial freedom.
Most of my content is geared towards people like me- mid-class, middle-aged, and with children. We were not given the tools to make ourselves financially free. So we have to learn these lessons through education.
My wife and I have made ourselves financially free through education and sacrifice. Part of our four pillars of a cash flow retirement is military pension (or 401k for non-military), investments, real estate, and business.
