Jobs to work part time

The most important question you need to ask yourself is, “Why am I working this second or third job?” If you can’t make ends meet from your primary income source, you need to find out why. Create a detailed household budget, discover where your money is going, make spending cuts, and see what you have left. You need to have a very clear goal when you work a second job. Something like, “I am going to pay off this $2000 credit card”. This will motivate you to continue to go to work. Remember, these jobs fall into the earned income bracket. You are giving your time for money. We want to get to the point where we are using our earned income to create business and investment income. Here are some suggestions:

Fast Food: I know, nobody wants to work fast food. Find a clean place, like Jimmy John’s, and apply. Work hard and accomplish your mission. If you complete your mission and still like the place, continue your work there. Convert your earned income into investment income by investing all of your pay.

Grocery stores: A little higher on the totem pool than fast food. Again, find a clean place like Vons, Winn Dixie, or Publix. Ensure you have your goals all lined out.

Department stores: If department stores make a comeback after the virus, they are an excellent way to make income.

Cellular carrier: I know many people who worked at Verizon or AT&T part-time. Could be a good, clean way to earn income.

Bartending: If you are young, this may be up your lane. You already want to be in the hot spots. You may as well get paid to be there.

Only you can get your life going in the direction you want it to go. Remember the 3 types of income (earned, business, and investment). Eventually, you want to have completely passive income, where you are getting paid while doing what you want to do.
