Should you join the military for travel?

Yes. Yes. And more Yes.

I joined the military in 1999. At the time, I had never been on an airplane before. I joined from San Diego, and my boot camp was in San Diego, so they but me on a bus to Marine Corps Recruit Depot. After advanced infantry training in Camp Pendleton, Ca, they finally put me on an airplane to Pensacola, Fl. These began the first of my travels around the country and the world.

Some countries I have LIVED in are Okinawa, Japan; Mainland, Japan; Niger, West Africa; Turkmenistan, Central Asia; and Finland, Europe.

Some Countries I have VISITED are Mali, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Romania, Afghanistan, Denmark, Germany, Turkey the Philippines, Australia, and Thailand.

The places I have visited in the USA are too many to list. I will get into those in a separate post. The journey has been amazing. If travel is something you want to do, the military is definitely something to consider.
