In my opinion yes. I think you have to be careful wherever you go. Kris and I traveled to Turkey in the summer of 2019. It was a totally amazing time. We traveled through Istanbul into Didim. We went via bus which took 14 hours. I actually enjoyed seeing the countryside along the bus route. We visited all of Kris’ family. Didim is along the Mediterranean Sea. Amazing beaches and people. Everything is cheap in US dollars. I actually think it is one of my favorite places I have ever been to. Kris and I are planning a trip back soon. I’ll let the pictures do the talking.
