Hi, my name is Josh and my wife’s name is Kris.
I have been in the military for over 21 years. Kris and I have been married for over 14 years. I am brand new to investing. We started our investing journey in June 2019. So right at the 20-year mark of my career. So we were late to the party. However, we were always good with money, so we bought and own 3 homes along the way. I also will have a nice military paycheck when I retire.
However, the goal is to build a family (generational) wealth. So over the course of this blog, I am going to track our journey to build wealth. The wealth that my great-great grandkids will appreciate.
Some topics we will cover will be how to generate extra income to invest, how to live below your means, how to start investing, and many many more. Between June 2019 and June 2020 my wife and I were able to invest over $40,000. We learned a lot about generating income and making our money work for us. We want to share everything we have learned (and still learning) with you.
